Battery Energy Drink has a long history, having been born in Finland in January 1997. It was launched in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania in July of the same year, and has since spread primarily across Northern Europe. It is now available in countries around the world. It is especially well-known in the Nordic countries.

Released in Japan Starting in 2016

In Japan, it was first released in 2016 in two sizes: a 350ml can and a 250ml can. The design was revamped in 2019, and now only the 250ml can is available.
