HOT6 Energy Drink Light

This is the HOT6 Light. Just like with other brands, when something is made "light," it tends to have a white or blue-ish, refreshing look to it, which gives off a lighter, more invigorating impression.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 8,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
HOT6 ENERGY DRINK LIGHT Flavor
First, I couldn't wait for the Korean text to be translated, so I tried it. The scent has a sweet fragrance similar to Monster during the gas release, and after fully opening it, the vitamin-like scent becomes more prominent.

The taste retains a slight green tea or herbal flavor in the aftertaste, but the HOT6 flavor itself is quite mild, making it easy to drink. It’s not a light drink with just a subtle flavor; it's actually quite full-bodied. You might wonder, “What’s so light about it?” The sweetness is toned down, making it perfect for hydration. It’s ideal for a drink right after waking up, with a non-intrusive flavor.
Personally, I prefer the Light version over the original HOT6. It’s an unexpected choice.
What Exactly Makes HOT6 Light "Light"?
When you think of "light," you usually expect it to be calorie or sugar-free, but HOT6 Light has only half the caffeine of the original, with just 30mg. I sometimes wonder if they could have just removed it entirely (;´∀`).
As mentioned in the flavor review, I had the ingredients translated, and it turns out the Light version contains only tea extract, unlike the original, which includes tea powder as well. Perhaps they made it lighter in the aftertaste by eliminating the extra components. Other than that, it’s almost identical to the original.
Since I’m not fond of the unique aftertaste and fragrance, I find the Light version much easier to drink.
