This is a review of Lipovitan V (力保健V) Berry, a carbonated energy drink series launched in China as a spin-off of the Lipovitan D series.

I picked it up at Lawson during my visit to Shenzhen in March 2025.

I didn’t see it in any other stores, so its distribution might be somewhat limited.
Well then, let’s give it a try.

When opened, it releases a sweet, candy-like aroma of strawberry, mangosteen, and other fruity notes. The liquid itself is clear with a faint pink hue. Let’s give it a try.

Upon tasting, a sweet and mellow flavor reminiscent of mangosteen, lychee, and peach spreads in the mouth, offering a refreshing and floral candy-like experience.

Both the taste and aroma are very light, with virtually no sourness, which results in a lack of fruity depth. It’s hard to describe it as a “berry flavor,” and being zero sugar, the overall taste and scent are quite mild, which may not appeal to everyone.

That said, the unpleasantness of artificial sweeteners is minimal. Thanks to its light and smooth taste, it feels like something I could finish in no time—like a 250ml drink.
