Trying to Exceed 100% Fruit Juice with Mango Roco, Which Has 11% Fruit Juice
When Mango Roco was announced for release in Japan, this was something I had been wanting to do!

I topped it with lots of tropical fruits and tried to create a fruity, rich energy drink that goes beyond 100% fruit juice, starting with its 11% fruit juice content!

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Mango Roco with a Glass Full of Fruit Pulp

This time, I packed a glass with pineapple, orange, peach, and papaya, then poured Mango Roco over it. The colorful fruits and the vivid color of Mango Roco create a beautiful combination!

Opening the canned tropical fruit mix and filling the glass, then pouring Mango Roco over it is all it takes to complete this simple yet delicious drink.

The fruit is from a canned tropical fruit mix, so the pulp is preserved in syrup, giving it a strong flavor. However, it perfectly matches with the refreshing taste of Mango Roco, creating a rich energy drink with a satisfying texture and delightful freshness.

This combination might work especially well because of the moderately rich yet vibrant flavor of the Japanese version of Mango Roco.

I also recommend gently breaking up the fruit to enjoy. A wider glass rather than this narrow one would be easier to eat from and drink.

The combination of Mango Roco and tropical fruits makes for a great dessert, offers an energy boost, and, of course, tastes delicious. I definitely recommend giving it a try!
