I speculate that this was due to certain ingredients related to flavor that couldn’t be implemented in Japan. It's a shame that this bitter tonic water isn’t available to enjoy in Japan... However, it can be purchased overseas, so if you’re traveling to Europe or other regions, be sure to try it!

Strong Bitter Grapefruit Flavor

When opened, the refreshing scent of citrus fruits like lemon and lime spreads. As expected from the color, it has a natural fragrance that makes you forget it's an energy drink, and there’s no hint of the typical energy drink brand aroma.

Red Bull Organics Tonic Water has a strong grapefruit flavor, so if you expect just a bitter tonic water with quinine, you might find the grapefruit too overpowering.

However, the unique bitterness and freshness of quinine, along with the lingering bitter aroma, create an exquisite flavor. Personally, I enjoy both the crisp bitter types and fruity types, so I’ve been enjoying this Red Bull fruit-filled tonic water as well.

In Japan, quinine tonic waters are hard to come by, so I recommend trying it overseas. Among the Red Bull Organics series, the tonic water offers an adult taste and is highly recommended.
