In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 8,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Flavor of BURN ORANGE FIRE

When opened, an aroma that fully delivers the impression of sweet, sugar-added orange juice spreads out. Now, let’s take a sip.
Flavor of BURN ORANGE FIRE
On the palate, the sweetness of blood orange gently envelops the mouth, while moderate acidity and orange aroma linger and slowly fade away, creating a blood orange candy–like flavor.

There is not much sense of real pulp, but the reproduction of a rich, sugar-driven blood orange flavor is impressively accurate, resulting in a level of completeness that exceeds what I imagined at the moment of opening.

Even within the Burn series after coming under the Monster Energy umbrella, this is a bottle that deserves particularly high praise.

Whether at room temperature or chilled, it achieves a level of tastiness that comfortably clears the bar for a no-juice orange drink, and the more it is chilled, the smoother the mouthfeel becomes and the more refreshing it feels.

Energy Ingredients of BURN ORANGE FIRE

Energy Ingredients of BURN ORANGE FIRE
Caffeine 80 mg and taurine 1,000 mg.

After joining the Monster Energy group, Burn adopted a half-sugar formula with roughly half the sugar content of typical full-sugar energy drinks, and BURN ORANGE FIRE contains 13 g per can.

Design of BURN ORANGE FIRE

Design of BURN ORANGE FIRE
A design featuring flames rendered in colors that evoke an orange flavor. It is unfortunate that after coming under the Monster Energy umbrella, the refined flame logo from the Coca-Cola era was lost.

On the back, similar to Monster Energy, there is an energy poem along with Burn’s catchphrase "Light it up!", which was added after the brand joined the Monster Energy group.
Design of BURN ORANGE FIRE
Compared to the Burn series from the Coca-Cola era, which was particularly good at creating a cool and stylish atmosphere, this part ends up looking uncool, feeling almost like a copy-and-paste of Monster Energy.
