BURN BLUE REFRESH was released when the BURN brand was still under The Coca-Cola Company. After the brand moved under Monster Energy, BURN APPLE KIWI was introduced as its successor.

This apple and kiwi flavor is one of the more unusual products in the BURN lineup, with significant differences in its product name, liquid color, and even flavor depending on the country and when it was sold.

This time, I'm reviewing BURN APPLE KIWI, which I picked up in Poland in 2025.

The green apple flavor is particularly impressive, capturing not only the juicy freshness of the flesh but also the distinctive green, slightly grassy notes of the skin. The flavor is more nuanced than I expected, with a surprising amount of depth.

They could have gone for a richer, more intense flavor by emphasizing the apple flesh notes, creating a fuller taste. Instead, I suspect BURN APPLE KIWI deliberately avoids a heavy profile in favor of a light, refreshing drinking experience.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it an absolute masterpiece that will leave everyone speechless, but it's a solid, well-balanced drink that brings together the fruity deliciousness of apple and kiwi. If you're looking for a fresh, juicy flavor that's hard to go wrong with, this is definitely one I'd recommend.

It contains 80mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, and inositol.

Looking at the nutritional information, this is a half-sugar formula, with around 15g of sugar—roughly half the amount found in a typical energy drink. As a result, it also has a relatively low calorie count of 55kcal. This explains the light, refreshing taste I noticed when drinking it: it likely comes down to the lower sugar content.
