Released in January 2024, C4 ENERGY Orange Creamsicle, the fourth installment of the collaboration series between the ice cream brand "Popsicle" and C4, was first launched at 7-Eleven and Speedway before expanding nationwide.

I will be reviewing the classic orange cream flavor, a staple among fitness-oriented energy drinks.

Upon opening, the aroma was not that of ice cream, but rather like a regular orange juice without pulp. Could this scent really capture the orange cream flavor? Let’s give it a try.

When I took a sip, the creamy note that was not noticeable in the aroma spread along with the orange flavor. My initial worry that it might turn out to be just a simple orange flavor was put to rest—it truly tasted like orange cream.

That said, the sweet creamy note is kept quite subtle overall, with the refreshing orange flavor taking the lead. Among orange cream-style flavors, this one offers the cleanest and most refreshing drinking experience.

Because of that, if you expect “the soft sweetness unique to orange cream,” you may find the taste lacking in impact. Especially when chilled ice-cold, the creaminess becomes much weaker.

However, considering that C4 ENERGY is originally intended as a pre-workout drink, this level of refreshment might actually be ideal.

There is no artificial or chemical taste, and none of the unpleasantness often associated with artificial sweeteners. It’s enjoyable to drink without discomfort, making it a perfect orange creamsicle flavor to sip while staying focused on exercise.

The design is simple and consistent with the C4 Popsicle series. Since this is a collaboration flavor with the ice cream brand series “Creamsicle,” the Creamsicle logo is featured.
