The flavor is like drinking sweet and sour cherry candy without the fruitiness. The cherry candy scent, which seems like something kids would like, gives off a cheap vibe, but the lingering aftertaste and the cherry scent that passes through the nose provide a satisfying experience.

There’s no depth or rich flavor to the taste; it’s just a cherry juice flavor aimed at children. Honestly, for the taste, I wouldn’t want to spend $2. With this level of cherry flavor, it should cost under a dollar.

Since it’s not a strong cherry flavor, adding ice and making it slightly diluted still lets you enjoy the refreshing and artificial sweet-sour taste. When it’s at a chilled temperature, it leaves a sugary cherry candy taste in your mouth... Personally, I think it tastes better with ice, as the refreshment increases (๑´ڡ`๑)

Energy Components of AMP ENERGY PERFORMANCE CHERRY / CERISE

Caffeine 160mg, Taurine 3mg, Guarana 3mg, Ginseng 3mg. Other than caffeine, the amounts of taurine and guarana are too small to have any noticeable effect. The taurine 3mg is unique to the AMP series in Canada.

A calm red can with the signature AMP wave design. While the AMP Cherry in the US was part of the BOOST series, in Canada, it’s sold as part of the PERFORMANCE series.

I initially thought the only difference was the label—BOOST vs PERFORMANCE—but after trying it, I noticed that the flavor and ingredients between the US (cherry punch) and Canada (cherry candy) versions are subtly different, which was interesting. Personally, I prefer the US BOOST CHERRY, which has a punchy flavor with less sugar and more savory taste (●´ω｀●)
