When opened, it releases an aroma reminiscent of bubblegum, fabric softener, and air fresheners. This is almost identical to the full-sugar version, BLACK ENERGY WILD STRAWBERRY. Now, let’s take a sip.

On the palate, it tastes as if bubblegum and detergent have flowed directly into your mouth. The aftertaste is a sharp, tart, chemically tinged raspberry flavor.

The biggest difference from the full-sugar version is that the unpleasant taste of artificial sweeteners stands out too much. This amplifies the chemical notes, making the flavor diverge significantly from the berry profile. As a result, the overall taste quality is clearly lower.

Personally, I wouldn’t be inclined to buy this again. On the other hand, those who enjoy chemically or detergent-like, “unhealthy” flavors might find it oddly addictive. Still, for most people, it’s a flavor that’s hard to get used to.
