This is a review of BLACK ENERGY EASY BOOST FANCY CHERRY from the BLACK ENERGY EASY series, which was relaunched with a new package design in December 2024.

This series originally featured three flavors and was first released in June 2024 under the name “BLACK ENERGY NO LIMITS.” Later, the series name was changed to “BLACK ENERGY EASY BOOST,” and now, with the same name but a completely redesigned look, it has been released again as the current BLACK ENERGY EASY BOOST series.

As I continued drinking, the impression of plum became stronger than that of cherry. For Japanese consumers, describing it as a plum flavor might better capture its subtle nuances. If it were truly a cherry flavor, it might need to be a bit sweeter to meet expectations.

So, if you’re expecting a traditional cherry flavor, you might find it too light and unsatisfying. However, for Japanese drinkers, it may be well-received as a refreshing plum flavor.

The reason for the lower caffeine content is due to regulatory changes in Poland that began in January 2024, which prohibit the sale of high-caffeine beverages to individuals under 18. This product was formulated to be exempt from those restrictions.

This is why all BLACK ENERGY products released since 2024 have been formulated with a reduced caffeine content of 14mg/100ml.
