BUCKED UP LFG BURN APPLE ORCHARD

Posted on October 25, 2025 | Last updated November 25, 2025

BUCKED UP LFG BURN APPLE ORCHARD
Released in April 2023, BUCKED UP launched a new fat-burning energy drink series called "LFG BURN," introducing three flavors at the same time.

I had managed to get two of the flavors in the U.S. in 2023, but despite several subsequent trips to America, the remaining one—BUCKED UP LFG BURN APPLE ORCHARD—eluded me for two years. The LFG BURN series was rarely carried in most stores.

I had almost given up, thinking it might have been discontinued… but in the summer of 2025, I found a leftover BUCKED UP LFG BURN APPLE ORCHARD at a Bay Area supplement shop, "GNC"! I was finally able to review it this time.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 8,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

Flavor of BUCKED UP LFG BURN APPLE ORCHARD

When opened, a sweet and refreshing aroma of apple flesh spreads out. There’s a slight chemical scent, but what does it actually taste like? Let’s give it a try.
Flavor of BUCKED UP LFG BURN APPLE ORCHARD

On the palate, a sweet and sour green apple flavor is accompanied by a note reminiscent of chemical floor cleaners or laundry detergents. It’s not a medicinal chemical taste, but rather a flavor that evokes cleaning agents.

You can briefly taste a sour apple note, but the chemical detergent aroma that passes through the nose is so striking that the apple flavor barely lingers in memory.

The back of the can had the flavor components listed in detail.

It says “Green Apple, Peach, and White Grape,” and indeed, it seems that the grape aroma interacting with the green apple flavor is what contributes to the chemical impression. This might have been better omitted.

Apple flavors in energy drinks occasionally develop a chemical taste, not only in the U.S. but also in other countries, so it’s not particularly unusual.

BUCKED UP LFG BURN APPLE ORCHARD is one such case: an apple-flavored “cleaner” taste. Naturally, I won’t be buying it again…

The matte dark green texture contrasts beautifully with the white logo and functional icons. The sizing and layout balance are exquisite.

Compared to the 473ml cans of the main BUCKED UP series, I personally prefer the slimmer 355ml LFG BURN cans, which give a higher-end feel.

The back displays the cool DAS Labs manufacturer logo and logos of the ingredient brands, creating a design typical of a supplement brand.

As mentioned at the beginning of the article, two years after the release of the three LFG BURN flavors, in 2025, I finally got my hands on this one—luckily, the very last can.

Knowing that the LFG BURN series had already been removed from BUCKED UP’s official website, I was genuinely thrilled to have found it.

The LFG BURN cans are smaller than the 473ml main series, yet priced the same, which may have made them feel expensive and possibly contributed to lower sales.
