In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 8,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of DZIK ENERGY ORANGE
When opened, a juicy and tangy Valencia orange scent bursts out—so rich it’s hard to believe it’s sugar-free. Will the flavor live up to this incredible aroma, or will it be a typical light-tasting sugar-free drink? Personally, I was hoping for a bold flavor... Let’s take a sip and find out.
The moment it hits the tongue, the sweet, juicy orange flavor spreads in the mouth, followed by a lingering tartness. There’s also a subtle bitterness reminiscent of real orange pulp that lingers pleasantly as an aftertaste. I was genuinely surprised by how fresh and authentic the orange flavor is—far exceeding my expectations.
If I had to compare it to a more familiar taste, it’s quite close to the fresh and pulpy flavor of MONSTER ENERGY ROSSI.
Although DZIK ENERGY ORANGE is sugar-free and contains no fruit juice, it has a lighter and cleaner mouthfeel than ROSSI. Still, the sustained bitter aftertaste gives it a surprisingly rich and satisfying orange flavor that doesn’t feel sugar-free at all.
I initially thought the freshness might drop off at room temperature, but to my surprise, the orange sweetness actually becomes more pronounced. It tastes great both chilled and at room temperature.
DZIK ENERGY ORANGE is without a doubt one of the most delicious flavors in the DZIK series.
Energy Ingredients of DZIK ENERGY ORANGE
Contains 200mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 100mg of ginseng, and 50mg of guarana. In Poland, this high-caffeine formula rivals and even surpasses major energy drink brands.
Design of DZIK ENERGY ORANGE
The bold DZIK logo makes a strong impression, while the light blue at the bottom of the can highlights the zero-sugar aspect. The entire can features a design resembling the fur texture of a wild boar in the flavor’s color.
DZIK ENERGY ORANGE has a mirror-finish surface, and only the fur-patterned parts have a rough texture.
Most cans in the DZIK ENERGY series have a matte finish, so I immediately noticed the different tactile feel when picking up this one.
The side of the can displays ingredient icons, and at the bottom, there’s a prominent "+18" icon indicating it’s for ages 18 and up.
Since January 2024, energy drinks with standard caffeine levels cannot be sold to minors under 18 in Poland, which is likely why this clear age restriction icon is included.
The back of the can features the brand story of how DZIK achieved the Polish dream.
It’s fascinating to see how a new wave of energy drinks began around 2020, especially in the U.S., and how in Poland, emerging brands like DZIK—launched by young entrepreneurs—are now making a powerful impact.
