When I opened the can, I noticed a fairly subtle aroma of strongly sour citrus fruits like lime and lemon. Now, I will try drinking it.

As I took it into my mouth, the sharp acidity and sweet-and-sour flavor reminiscent of lime candy were impressive. It offered a satisfying taste that hardly felt like a zero-sugar drink. I was surprised at how the sweetness of the limeade persisted well.

What also amazed me was the refreshing aftertaste that softly smelled of mint after drinking.

While the solid limeade flavor gave me high satisfaction, the aroma and aftertaste evoked a mojito-like freshness without being overwhelming, creating a finish that never gets boring and makes me want to drink it repeatedly.

It is a very well-crafted limeade-mojito flavor that balances the seemingly contradictory elements of being “rich yet refreshing.” I felt it was among the top-tier tastiness in the GHOST ENERGY series I have tried so far.

GHOST ENERGY ELECTRIC LIMEADE EDC EDITION expanded from initially being sold only at the venue to general sales, and the 2025 version appeared the following year. Furthermore, a design renewal is planned as it moves toward becoming a regular product.

I assume this development is due to the remarkably high completion of the flavor, which could almost be called a miracle, and the strong support it gained from many consumers.

It contains 200mg caffeine, 1000mg taurine, 1000mg Carnipure L-carnitine, 150mg α-GPC, 100mg NeuroFactor, and 25mg AstraGin—a combination of astragalus and Panax notoginseng that enhances amino acid absorption.

The design is psychedelic, woven with colorful space and mushrooms. It is the same design as the GHOST ENERGY WIDE AWAKEN WATERMELON released in 2023.

When comparing the 2023 and 2024 versions side by side, I can see that only the base color was slightly changed.

The flavor icon blends the eye icon of Insomniac, the organizer of EDC, with lime green to express the flavor image.

On the back, the Insomniac icon is incorporated into the functionality icons. This is a special limited feature for the EDC collaboration design.

The entire can features a beautiful design that creates shadows only noticeable when held by mixing two types of finishes: a smooth matte part and a glossy surface.

As I mentioned at the beginning, although GHOST ENERGY ELECTRIC LIMEADE was supposed to be an EDC 2024 exclusive, for some reason it started selling at stores nationwide across the U.S. I got one when I visited America in June 2024.

The GHOST ENERGY series has introduced many venue-exclusive flavors before, but currently, this GHOST ENERGY ELECTRIC LIMEADE EDC EDITION is the only one widely distributed across the U.S. Considering the high level of completion of this flavor, having more people drink it should also improve the overall brand favorability.

Then in 2025, the design was changed from the EDC collaboration can to a design similar to other regular flavors, and it started selling nationwide as the regular, year-round product "GHOST ENERGY ELECTRIC LIMEADE."
