Released in January 2021. This is my review of REIGN CHERRY LIMEADE, which was launched together with REIGN WHITE GUMMY BEAR.

Since cherry limeade is such a classic and common flavor, I thought I would just review it without much expectation—but it turned out to be absolutely delicious...

When I opened the can, a sweet and sour cherry aroma burst out. Since the scent was so light, I wondered if the flavor might end up being too weak. How would it actually taste? Let’s find out.

As I took a sip, the mellow, sweet cherry aroma passed through my nose, followed by a refreshing limeade aftertaste that lingered with gentle sweetness.

About 90% of the flavor is limeade, and its natural, smooth taste is so well-crafted that it almost makes me forget it’s sugar-free.

On the other hand, the cherry notes are hardly noticeable, so it might be better to think of it as a limeade-only flavor. If you expect a strong cherry flavor, you may end up disappointed.

Even when chilled, the limeade flavor is delicious, but adding ice brings out an even more refreshing sweetness, creating a crisp limeade that’s perfect for summer.

With ice, the overall taste becomes less sweet and the aroma less overpowering, resulting in a fresh, balanced drink. It pairs well with any meal and of course goes great with snacks or junk food, making it a versatile option.

This fresh limeade flavor is sure to be a crowd-pleaser, but it’s unfortunate that with 300mg of caffeine, I can’t casually recommend it to everyone.

It contains 300mg of caffeine, BCAAs, and CoQ10. Since it’s high in caffeine and sugar-free, I personally pair the REIGN series with fat-burning supplements and drink it before doing cardio.

The design uses black as the main color, accented with red and yellow. However, the red and yellow are so vivid and primary that they don’t really convey the image of cherry or limeade, which is a bit of a drawback.

Since the flavor itself was excellent, I find it a real shame that the simple design doesn’t reflect the high quality of the taste.

Lately, there are fewer energy drinks that contain as much as 300mg of caffeine, so when I take another look at the back of the can, it really reminds me just how intense this energy drink is.
