Upon tasting, the flavor is a sweet and sour fruity chemical flavor, reminiscent of apple or pineapple. While there’s no chemical taste in the drink itself, the chemical flavor is created through artificial flavorings.

The 20% fruit juice flavor is overwhelmed by the strong chemical scent, making it hard to recognize the fruit flavors. It almost feels like the fruit flavors are ignored in favor of the overpowering chemical artificial fragrance, which disrupts the balance of the overall flavor.

I assume the developers aimed to create a "new classic energy drink flavor," as indicated by the product name, but... to be frank, the good aspects of *TIGER Newschool Classic* are hard to find. The impactful packaging makes you expect more from the taste, but you’re left feeling disappointed when you try it.

What surprised me when checking the nutritional information was that the sugar content was about half that of a regular *full sugar* energy drink, and it had a *half sugar* level instead. Naturally, the calorie count is also around 100 kcal, so it’s great to enjoy without any guilt. I didn’t even feel like I was drinking something half-sugared while having it.

When I first picked it up in the store, I wondered what a "Newschool Classic" flavor would taste like, but as you can see from this review, it refers to a "new classic flavor" proposed by Tiger.

The design features a flashy skull in bold fashion. The cap says "Juicy," but I imagine some people might end up drinking it thinking it’s a fruity juice flavor, only to realize it's just a chemical flavor.

The peace sign on the skull contains a palm tree, so the design might lead one to expect a tropical fruit juice flavor, which adds to the overall confusion.

The design concept feels like something from the world of hip-hop, but for some reason, there are dinosaurs too, which adds an odd touch.

The energy poem on the can conveys a rather juvenile, "do what you want, old or new," vibe, like something out of a late-stage “chuunibyou” phase.

The can itself features "Old school" and "New school," but the official website humorously replaces "Old school" with "Old Skull," adding a playful twist to the poem.

The vibrant color scheme and large skull design make it stand out in stores. After buying it, I walked around with it, and it really grabbed attention.
