The V Energy Drink coffee series, V ENERGY ICED COFFEE, was released in New Zealand. The V ENERGY ICED series had two flavors each launched in New Zealand and Australia.

Rich and Creamy Coffee Flavor

At first glance, it looks like a typical sweet coffee beverage, with a slight chocolate-like aroma.

Upon tasting, the coffee flavor offers a surprisingly rich and creamy mouthfeel, much heavier than expected.

Compared to the overly sweet coffee energy drinks common in Europe and the U.S., this one has a more balanced sweetness, retaining the coffee's natural flavor. It offers a "coffee-like" taste similar to Japan’s canned coffee.

Although the sweetness is familiar to Japanese palates, the texture is creamy, and it has a dense consistency. This smooth, rich mouthfeel is the standout feature of the V Energy Coffee series.

North America's famous Starbucks Energy offers a rich and creamy coffee energy drink, but this one is even more syrupy, almost dessert-like, rather than just a drink.

It’s best enjoyed chilled with ice, as it becomes quite difficult to drink if it warms up.

Contains 155mg of caffeine and 600mg of guarana. With the addition of milk, it has a notable 12g of protein, making it quite similar to a typical protein drink in Japan.

This version of V Energy Coffee features a redesign of the coffee series, originally launched in 2014.

True to the swirling coffee theme, the design clearly conveys that this is a coffee energy drink with rich flavor.

However, the texture of the label material and the coffee swirl effect give it a slightly cheap feel, rather than an upscale design. Maybe they aimed for a 90s-style vibe?

The bottle is thick with rounded contours, giving a sturdy, solid feel. The opening is wide like a sports drink bottle, allowing you to enjoy the coffee aroma directly from the bottle. This type of bottle has been consistently used in the V Energy Coffee series, and I personally like it.
