Released in 2021, the BIG SHOCK series launched four coffee flavors at once. This review is for one of them, BIG SHOCK COFFEE ESPRESSO MILK NO ADDED SUGAR.

I purchased this during my trip to Prague in 2023. For some reason, it was priced higher than regular energy drinks, which made me wonder whether it could really sell, especially since it was part of the coffee series.

Taking a sip, the bitterness and richness of the coffee are smoothly enveloped by the milk, offering a bittersweet espresso milk taste.

The texture is smooth, and it doesn't have the thick, soft heaviness of the full-sugar version of "BIG SHOCK COFFEE ESPRESSO MILK."

The absence of sugar makes a significant difference, allowing for a more enjoyable bitter coffee flavor.

The aftertaste leaves only a hint of milkiness, making it refreshing. The light, airy mouthfeel with little sensation of milk fat is personally a high point for me.

In North America, coffee energy drinks tend to become overly sweet, but the BIG SHOCK COFFEE series manages to maintain the authentic coffee taste, especially with this NO ADDED SUGAR version. I was reminded that it's great to have the option to choose a taste that aligns with your preference.
