This is a review of the newly rebranded MONSTER ENERGY FULL THROTTLE, which replaced MONSTER ENERGY LEWIS HAMILTON ZERO SUGAR following the end of the partnership between Monster Energy and Lewis Hamilton in 2025. This particular can was purchased in Poland in April 2025.

Although MONSTER ENERGY FULL THROTTLE is essentially the same drink as its predecessor—MONSTER ENERGY LEWIS HAMILTON ZERO SUGAR—with no changes to the contents and only a name change, it is unlikely that the original name will return. Given this, the product will most likely continue under the name MONSTER ENERGY FULL THROTTLE until it is eventually discontinued, so I'm reviewing it again from this perspective.

Interestingly, this product has been rebranded under different names depending on the country. In addition to “MONSTER ENERGY FULL THROTTLE,” it has also been released under the name “MONSTER ENERGY TOP SPEED.”

As soon as you open the can, a burst of sweet and refreshing peach aroma fills the air, accompanied by a juicy scent that evokes the image of fibrous, succulent peach pulp. Despite having had this flavor many times before in its previous version, I’m always impressed by the authentic and rich peach flavoring.

The moment it hits your tongue, you're enveloped by a refreshing and smooth peach pulp taste that spreads across your palate.

At the same time, the realistic peach aroma lingers through your nose, leaving behind a pleasantly fresh aftertaste. It's hard to believe that this drink is sugar-free.

Even though I’ve had several cans before, tasting it again for this review left me thinking, “Is this really sugar-free?” If this level of flavor can be achieved without sugar, then perhaps sugary peach-flavored drinks are no longer necessary.

Considering that the product continues to be sold under a new name even after the contract with Lewis Hamilton ended, it’s easy to imagine just how well-received this drink is. It’s undoubtedly one of the must-try energy drinks in Europe.

The overall design remains the same as the previous Lewis Hamilton version. The only difference is the name change to “FULL THROTTLE” due to the end of the contract, which no longer allows the use of “Lewis Hamilton” in the product name.

As of April 2025, this “MONSTER ENERGY FULL THROTTLE” had already replaced the previous version in most stores across Poland. Meanwhile, in neighboring countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, the Lewis Hamilton version was still available, despite the official website having already updated the name. This suggests that the transition depends on how existing inventory is cleared out at each store.

Since becoming MONSTER ENERGY FULL THROTTLE, the unique Lewis Hamilton icons on the side of the can have been removed.

His signature, the number 44, helmet design, and championship stars are gone, replaced with more generic racer-like icons. The energy poem on the back has also been rewritten, with no references to Lewis Hamilton, reflecting the updated MONSTER ENERGY FULL THROTTLE version.

Previously in the U.S. and Canada, MONSTER ENERGY GRONK was discontinued after GRONK left the Patriots. In contrast, the collaboration drink with Lewis Hamilton has been renewed and remains on the market. This clearly shows that the flavor itself has gained strong support, independent of the collaboration.
