Released in February 2025, this is a review of bang ANY MEANS ORANGE, a new bang flavor created as a collaboration with "Any Means Possible".

After being acquired by Monster Energy, bang lost much of its former momentum and saw its market share drop sharply. I never expected that, in this situation, they would release a limited flavor—especially a collaboration product.

This marks the first collaboration product in bang’s history. So what does it taste like? Let’s get into the review.

When I crack it open, a rich, sweet aroma like orange candy bursts out. It smells like orange mixed with plenty of sugar or caramel, giving off a soft sweetness that clearly isn’t a simple orange flavor. Let’s take a sip.

As soon as it hits my mouth, a sweet, smooth orange flavor spreads across the palate. In the aftertaste, creamy sweetness and a sweet aroma gently wrap around the orange flavor and linger lightly even after swallowing. It’s very much an orange cream–style taste.

Because the sweet vanilla and cream notes aren’t overly strong, the balance between orange and cream feels about fifty-fifty. For people who aren’t familiar with orange cream or dreamsicle flavors, it might come across as simply “an orange flavor that really leans into sweetness.”

Adding plenty of ice brings a refreshing edge to the otherwise very sweet orange cream flavor, letting the fresh orange notes shine through. Personally, I think it’s best enjoyed over ice.

Because the product name is “ANY MEANS ORANGE,” you wouldn’t know it’s an orange cream flavor until you actually drink it. Even Drin' Kun thought it would be a regular orange flavor before tasting it.

This is a collaboration product with the YouTuber group “Any Means Possible.” On the top of the can, instead of bang’s usual catchphrase, you’ll find “Any Means Possible,” with their social media account name printed underneath.

On the back, there are photos of the Any Means Possible members along with an outline of the collaboration. “Any Means Possible” is a hugely popular group, with average video views around 8 million and sometimes exceeding 15 million.

Since “Any Means Possible” has strong support not only on YouTube but across various social media platforms, this collaboration can be seen as a good match for bang, allowing them to reach a wide audience in a single campaign.

Following its lawsuit with Monster Energy, bang saw its market share drop significantly and is now a brand under the Monster Energy umbrella.
Its presence in the market remains relatively modest, so I hope bang continues to pursue collaborations like this—working with well-known figures who fit the brand image—to regain its momentum.
