Bang's Best Flavor Ever!? A Limeade-Inspired Flavor

It’s colorless and transparent, with a pleasant lime scent that is very refreshing. It’s a typical lime citrus flavor, so my expectations weren’t very high at this point. Let’s give it a try...

The moment it touches my lips, a refreshing lime scent spreads, along with a soft and crisp lemonade and limeade-like sweetness. It’s not overpowering, but the balance of natural sweetness and fragrance seems perfect for a wide audience.

The aftertaste almost disappears, leaving a pleasant lime scent lingering after drinking. It's quite ordinary, but there’s no artificial sweetener taste that you usually get with zero-calorie drinks, and there’s no lingering sourness or sweetness, so it’s naturally enjoyable without any weirdness. I didn’t find anything about it that made me think, "Hmm?"

The scent, flavor, and overall balance are so good that I found myself drinking faster than usual, and before I knew it, I was almost done with the 473ml can... I’ve never encountered a flavor in the Bang series that I finished before writing a review, so here I am, rushing to write it now Σ(´∀｀；).

For similar lime flavors, there are famous ones like AMP Original and ROCKSTAR LIME FREEZE, but Bang CITRUS TWIST is far more drinkable, with a solid lime flavor and sweetness that doesn't assert itself unnecessarily. I think it’s a flavor that’s naturally enjoyable when you’re working on something, rather than one to savor slowly or gulp down.

Energy Ingredients of bang CITRUS TWIST

With a smooth, natural taste, it contains 300mg of caffeine. The energy blend of Bang remains the same, with the usual additions of creatine and CoQ10.

Rather than drinking it just because it’s a high-caffeine drink, Bang CITRUS TWIST is one you’d want to drink for its flavor. It’s so delicious that you don’t even care about the ingredients (*´艸｀*).

Design of bang CITRUS TWIST

The can follows the common Bang design of a black base with red accents, though the color doesn’t really match the citrus flavor image.

After Bang CITRUS TWIST, another non-black base Bang flavor, Bang Pina Colada, was released, so I feel like the black-based cans have reached their limit in terms of design. A green and yellow logo might have suited it better. I don’t understand why they went with red.

However, the signature "Zero" label on Bang cans is still cool (*´ｪ`*). Everything, from the ingredients and warnings to the flags, fits perfectly within the energy drink aesthetic.

The black top with the orange tab is a traditional Bang combo. As more flavors are released in the future, this combination may change.

As someone who drinks a variety of energy drinks from different countries, I find myself drawn to flavors like Bang CITRUS TWIST, which are easy to drink and progress naturally, rather than heavy, intense flavors. This time, I truly realized the beauty of drinkability.
