The refreshing scent of lemon bursts out as soon as you open the can, with a citrusy, fresh flavor that makes you think it’s going to be a tangy citrus drink.

Since bang does not use coloring agents, it is almost colorless and transparent. From the color, you might expect a light taste, but it’s actually a surprisingly strong lemonade flavor with noticeable sweetness. The carbonation is quite weak, so it feels more like a delicious lemonade made with plenty of sugar, honey, and lemon slices (^_^;)

There is almost no sourness, and the lemon taste is well balanced with the aroma and the perfect sweetness, making it just right to enjoy. This is really delicious! Despite using artificial sweeteners, the taste is surprisingly natural, with no aftertaste and a refreshing finish. I think this is well done.

It has a satisfying taste without lingering after you drink it, so it’s easy to hydrate during exercise and has a balanced sweetness that makes you want to gulp it down on a hot summer afternoon. For those who find overly sweet lemonades too heavy, this is the perfect choice. Though, the caffeine content is a bit much (^_^;)

Contains 300mg of caffeine, creatine, CoQ10, and BCAA. No other ingredient amounts are listed. The 300mg of caffeine is quite a substantial amount, so this alone should provide a decent energizing effect. If you also drink coffee or tea, be mindful not to overconsume.

All Three Initial bang Products are Still Available

I’m glad to see that all three of the initial bang products, including the new package version of Lemon Drop reviewed here, are still being sold. I think they’re the best among zero-zero products, and it was a wise decision to continue them ( ´∀｀)bｸﾞｯ!

By the way, the pull tab has been the same orange ring tab from the earlier versions. This is common across all the bang series except for the caffeine-free variants. Since 2018, the branding has been consistently strengthened, and if they ever switch to logo tabs, I’d be thrilled as a long-time fan (●´ω｀●)
