Released on June 20, 2023, ZONe ENERGY AGIT (Ajito) is a limited edition available exclusively at Don Quijote, Apita, Piago, and YouStore.

This collaboration product was created by ZONe and university students through the official university student ambassador program "ZONe Student Booster." The flavor is said to be "a spicy black taste popular among college students." Personally, I’m a bit concerned about the "spicy" aspect… Let’s see how the ZONe Agito actually tastes.

Upon opening, a sweet aroma of cola gummies fills the air. While it's described as having a "spicy black taste," I don't detect any spicy notes, which is a relief since I tend to dislike spicy flavors. Let’s give it a try.

When I take a sip, the flavor is sweet, refreshing, and has a clean cola taste with little aftertaste. The official ZONe website describes it as "spicy black" or "spice black," which made me worry it might have a bitter taste reminiscent of early energy drinks, but that is not the case at all.

The "spice" here could be referring to the spices used in crafting a cola flavor, designed to adjust the original taste. After drinking, a rich aroma lingers, but it’s not overpowering.

There isn’t an overwhelming flavor, and there are no unnecessary sourness or bitterness. It tastes like a smooth cola with a subtle sweetness that’s easy to drink. I personally dislike cola flavors that are too sour, so ZONe ENERGY AGIT suits my taste perfectly.

Of course, adding plenty of ice to it is highly recommended. There’s very little residue left on your palate, so you can easily drink it down.

With 75mg of caffeine, 500mg of arginine, and other energy ingredients like slowly absorbed palatinose, it contains the same ingredients as previous ZONe products.

The design gives a sense of heft with metal plates, and the faded ZONe logo and spray-painted "ZONe" give off a feeling of a "secret hideout with friends," which matches the concept of ZONe AGIT perfectly.

The light spilling from a padlocked door with the ZONe logo is a nice touch.

On the back, there's graffiti. Unlike the front design, it feels a bit out of place, making the overall look feel somewhat cheap, which is a shame.

The "ZONe ENERGY" and the "A-G-I-T" on the front blend well with the wear-and-tear look, making the graffiti stand out even more.

Aside from the graffiti, the fine details are well done.

The ZONe signature black top complements the heavy metal plate design. It's one of the best designs when paired with the black top, and it stood out at the store.

The actual product has a smooth surface despite the weathered look, and if the surface had a rough texture, it would have felt even more premium. The "dirty" and "worn-out" effects look impressive in the photos, so I hope future releases will add even more ways to enhance the tactile experience when holding the can.
