Upon opening, a sweet grape aroma spreads. The color also resembles a cloudy grape hue, typical of polyphenols. So, what kind of grape flavor does it have?

When you take a sip, a sweet and tangy, gentle grape flavor fills your mouth. The flavor of the grape flesh with its rich taste and moderate acidity creates a smooth and balanced profile. There is no chemical taste, and the juicy grape flavor lingers pleasantly.

Without any overpowering sweetness or strong aromas, it leaves a good impression. The natural, fresh flavor of the grape flesh offers a universally appealing grape flavor that is sure to be enjoyed.

I tried it at room temperature, chilled, and with ice, and the flavor remains fairly consistent across all temperatures. However, to enjoy the juicy, authentic taste of the grape flesh at its best, I found that chilling it is ideal.

With ice, the delicate grape flavor can be lost, and at room temperature, the freshness of the grape flesh diminishes, making the taste overly subdued. To fully enjoy ZONe EGO at its best, I recommend chilling it in the fridge and drinking it straight.

It contains 75mg of caffeine and 500mg of arginine.

Until now, the ZONe series has been notorious for its high sugar content, which made you hesitate to drink it. However, ZONe EGO has reduced the sugar content to 44g per can.

Reducing the sugar content to about two-thirds does not compromise the flavor satisfaction, and the drink still provides the same satisfying experience as previous ZONe products. The previous sugar levels were unusually high, so the current amount in ZONe EGO is actually just right.

The front of the ZONe logo has a design inspired by a soccer ball. Ah, so I just realized that Blue Lock is a soccer-themed anime and manga. I had no idea about this world... (^_^;)

ZONe EGO stands out among previous collaboration products, offering a cool and appealing design that strongly captures the essence of an energy drink.

If I had to point out something, it would be that the design and product name ZONe EGO don't give an immediate sense of the flavor inside (which is a common issue with the series). This is especially unfortunate since the natural grape flavor in this version is one of the best executed in the ZONe series, making it feel like a missed opportunity.

今回のブルーロックコラボのZONeはチェンソーマンのZONeと似たような味ですか？
それとも大きく違いますか？

ドリンクバーにあるような砂糖全開のフレーバー（チェンソーマンのZONEはこのタイプだった）ではなく、ぶどう果汁の美味しさを味わえる。かといって、100%のぶどうジュースにありがちな喉につかえるような甘さや渋みはなく飲みやすく調整されている。人工甘味料が美味しさに作用していると感じる。リアルなぶどうフレーバーと清涼感。どちらも味わえるのはZONe ENERGY EGOだけだと思う。
