Released in March 2022, the 2021 Summer Edition has become a permanent addition to the lineup. While the dragon fruit flavor isn’t an exact match for the real fruit, the fruity taste is still delicious and ranks among the best of the past editions.

With the release of Red Bull GREEN EDITION Dragon Fruit, the RED BULL GREEN EDITION Kiwi Apple, which had been available since 2017, has been replaced by the new Red Bull GREEN EDITION Dragon Fruit.

Similarly, the flavor released in Europe in 2021, Red Bull SUMMER EDITION 2021 Cactus Fruit, has also become part of the Red Bull GREEN EDITION lineup. Although the flavor name is "Cactus Fruit," it has been reviewed here as "Dragon Fruit" under the same review.

The red-pink color represents the fruit, yet, curiously, it's in a green can for the "GREEN EDITION."

It seems the design was inspired more by the green of the cactus rather than the actual dragon fruit.

It might have been better to align the can color and product name more closely with the flavor’s image. However, I believe the limitation of using color alone to represent flavors has already been reached about 4-5 years ago, so I hope for a design change soon.

Since Red Bull rarely misses in terms of taste, it would be great to see the can design evolve to reflect the high quality of the flavor as well.
