Flavor Comparable to a Rich, Sweet Limeade, but Sugar-Free

The liquid inside has a natural, light yellow-green color reminiscent of lime. I was a bit concerned by a somewhat artificial smell... Let’s take a sip.

When I took a sip, the artificial vibe I noticed in the aroma completely disappeared, and I was surprised by how it tasted like a rich, sweetened limeade. This is delicious! I can't believe this is sugar-free limeade.

The balance between the rich sweetness of the limeade and the tangy acidity is great, and the unique aroma gives a nice lime peel feel. This is an unexpectedly tasty sugar-free limeade flavor. Most people probably wouldn’t guess it’s sugar-free unless they were told.

For those who aren’t fond of artificial sweeteners (like me), there’s a slight aftertaste that reveals the distinct taste of artificial sweeteners, though it’s only noticeable at the very end. But I think this flavor and aroma would be widely accepted by most people.

In the end, it was discontinued after about a year, but something I noticed after drinking a few cans was that drinking 355ml at once felt too much, and the flavor became a bit monotonous after a while. If you sip it slowly, the flavor of the artificial sweeteners inevitably becomes noticeable. It’s probably best enjoyed in the summer with ice, drinking it quickly.

Contains 114mg of caffeine and 1320mg of taurine. It’s sugar-free, but with 15kcal of calories, it’s not a total zero product. It’s part of the sugar-free series.

Design of RED BULL LIME EDITION SUGARFREE

There were two designs for the Lime Edition Sugarfree. Initially released in 2017, the design on the left was the original. About two months later, a version with a light blue "SUGARFREE" label on the top of the can was released, which continued until it was discontinued. This made it much clearer that it was a sugar-free product.
