Flavor of Red Bull ACAI EDITION

When opening the can, a subtle berry scent wafts out, but it doesn't come across as overpowering.

When I take a sip, the first impression is a slightly sweet, mildly tart grape flavor. The taste evolves into a blueberry scent and aftertaste, offering a gentle sweet-and-sour grape & blueberry flavor. If you're expecting the clean and natural taste of acai, you may be surprised by the more robust punchy flavor of grape and blueberry.

This drink has no fruit juice, offering a sweet-and-sour berry flavor that isn't particularly distinctive, with no off-putting aftertaste or cheap flavors. It's a fairly basic, enjoyable taste that anyone can easily drink.

The Acai Edition is perfect for refreshing yourself in the morning. The natural, easy-to-understand grape flavor is delicious and straightforward, and the 250ml can is just the right size for it.

Energy Ingredients of Red Bull ACAI EDITION

Contains 80mg of caffeine and 1000mg of taurine. It shares the same energy ingredients as regular Red Bull, with no fruit juice added.

With so many different flavors now, I think it would be great if each could have unique ingredients to match their taste. However, Red Bull has consistently stuck to its standard blend.

Design of Red Bull ACAI EDITION

A purple Red Bull, which we've never really seen before. Even though there was a "grape flavor" released in Japan, it was strangely the Blue Edition back then.

It was a great idea for the Acai Edition to come from Brazil, the birthplace of acai. It would be great to see more Red Bull flavors based on the characteristics of different countries.

Now, the Acai Edition is available in many countries outside of Brazil, sold as the Acai Edition or Purple Edition. The taste itself isn't anything particularly special, but I don't think many people would find it bad. It's one of those editions that I hope will continue as a staple product for a long time.

Comparing Acai Edition and Purple Edition

I happened to have both the Acai Edition and Purple Edition, so I decided to do a comparison of the three flavors.

There’s no noticeable difference in color. Red Bull’s contents are mostly the same across regions, unless specific changes are required by local regulations.

I couldn't find any difference in this Acai Edition either. The well-balanced sweet-and-sour grape and blueberry flavor is best enjoyed chilled without ice.

Although there’s a total of 750ml across the three cans, I didn't get bored at all while slowly sipping them during the review. Normally, drinking that much at once would make me tired of the flavor, but that wasn’t the case this time.

The Acai Edition isn’t so amazing that I'd call it "irresistibly delicious," but this comparison made me realize that it’s a reliably good and stable flavor that appeals to a wide audience. (*´ｪ`*)
